Depths of Fields
This is the contract sheet of the depth of fields.

Not much of the depth of fields, the aperture was set of F5.6 makes the picture sharp the leaf on the front and blurry at the background.
Horror Shots
I was asked to do the horror film poster. I decided to take shots in photography studio because its more darker than other locations around the college. The lighting I used was the Studio Flash. The effect of the image is moody and sinister. The camera I used is Nikon, I control it on manual focus to take a picture clear.

This the contact sheet of various horror shots at the studio. I have edit some of the picture in lightroom to produce the lighting.
The equipment I used for Horror shot

Studio Flash-The Studio Flash is use for to connect wireless to the camera. It has flash and studio light.

Soft Box- Soft Box diffuses the light softer by bouncing off the surface to diffuse the light. When used properly it reduces shadows.

Snoot- The Snoot gives a small amount of light. It allows to be control the direction and radius of light beam. Snoot can isolate a subject when using a flash.

Gel- The gel was put into the light creates colour effects when taking a picture. The colour I use is red and green to create a sinister and scary effects. Red represents blood and green represent poison.

Nikon- We have been using this camera to take our photograph.

Final Phone Ad
I done some editing in Adobe Lightroom. I use clarity to make the quality clear and sharpen. I boast up the colours by adding more highlights and little bit of contracts. I also add a bit of shadows, the first picture is quite close but next time I will take everything than taking only the phone. Also, the second and third pictures looks better because I took the angle and background.

My Evaluation
This is my final evaluation of Unit 1.
Self-Portrait

I went to the Studio to take pictures of myself. I use Studio Flash, the camera was set to manual and then take a picture with a white background. After that, I upload the image on Photoshop, before I start editing I search the image on Google related to my life or something that I am passion of. The image I am passion of is games. I save it on desktop and then upload it selecting Place Embbedded and blend the color to Screen. I prefer in color than black & white because it’s much brighter and suits my personality. I found the tutorial a bit complicated because it was my first time learning new technique, however it is fun blending the color and taking shots of myself. The technique is one of my strengths for photography, also I am capable of using Photoshop tools such as color blending and filter.
